How To: Disco LED Lights

Its the time to disco! No, not for you.. You can sit back and relax. The LED Lights(caps lock, num lock etc) are whats going to dance!

The trick is fairly simple, and it doesn’t harm your computer in any way. Its kinda fun to, and can have weird uses. Perhaps you could use the lights as disco lights and dance to it in your room in the dark, or start it on your “friends” computer and have him perplexed and worried about how to close it. Think-think … ;)

So these are the steps on how to do it:

->Open notepad from Start.

->Copy paste the following text to the notepad without any changes.

Set wshShell =wscript.CreateObject(“WScript.Shell”)
wscript.sleep 100
wshshell.sendkeys “{CAPSLOCK}”
wshshell.sendkeys “{NUMLOCK}”
wshshell.sendkeys “{SCROLLLOCK}”

->Save the file as DiscoLight.vbs
The .vbs is written in bold because it is important. If you leave that out or save it as something else, the trick won’t work.

->Now open the file you saved

How to Deactivate it ?
->To deactivate open your task manager.
You can open the task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE.

->Now go to second tab, which is Process

->Click on the wscript.exe and click End Process.

Now your Keyboard LEDs stops blinking.

If you found this cool or liked it, there are a couple more of these tricks here and you can always have a look. Also, don’t forget to follow me on Twitter – @AnonAbagnale and stay updated :)
